Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how ContextHop collects, uses, and protects information when you use our service.
1. Who we are
ContextHop is operated by Baskerville & Co. LLC. The service stores files and metadata to support AI-assisted workflows.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: email, authentication identifiers, and profile fields you provide.
- Content: files you upload, tags, metadata, and activity logs related to library use.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, and request logs needed for security and operations.
- OAuth connections: tokens and scopes for AI clients you authorize (stored under our OAuth tables).
3. Where data is stored
File blobs are stored in Cloudflare R2. Indexes, accounts, and operational data are stored in Supabase (Postgres) in the United States. Subprocessors are bound by contractual safeguards appropriate to their role.
4. How we use data
- Provide storage, retrieval, sharing, and viewer features you request.
- Enforce tier limits, prevent abuse, and maintain security (including RLS per-account isolation).
- Improve reliability and support (including product feedback you submit).
- Comply with law and respond to lawful requests.
5. Access and sharing
Your files are private to your account unless you create a share link or connect an AI client via OAuth. Administrators may access data only for support, abuse investigation, or legal compliance, subject to internal access controls.
6. Retention and deletion
We retain data while your account is active. Trash and account deletion flows remove or soft-delete data according to product behavior. Backups may persist for a limited operational window.
7. Your choices
- Revoke OAuth clients from settings or the provider's consent UI.
- Delete files and empty Trash; request account deletion via support or in-product flows when available.
- Export data when export features are offered in-product.
8. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level security on user-scoped tables. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
9. Children
ContextHop is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
10. International users
If you use the service from outside the United States, you consent to processing in the U.S. where permitted by applicable law.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. Significant changes may be communicated in-product or by email.
