Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ContextHop, a file storage and retrieval service operated by Baskerville & Co. LLC ("we," "us," or "ContextHop"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
ContextHop stores your files in cloud infrastructure and exposes them to AI tools you authorize via OAuth (for example Claude, ChatGPT, or compatible MCP clients). The viewer at view.contexthop.io lets you browse, organize, and share content subject to these Terms.
2. Beta status
ContextHop may be offered as a beta or early-access product. Features may change, break, or be withdrawn without notice. We do not guarantee uptime, data durability, or fitness for a particular purpose during beta.
3. Your account and content
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure.
- You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant us a limited license to store, process, transmit, and display that content solely to operate the service.
- You must not upload unlawful content, malware, or material that infringes others' rights.
4. Acceptable use
You may not attempt to access other users' data, probe or abuse our APIs, circumvent usage limits, or use the service to spam or harm others. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
5. Sharing
Share links you create may be opened by anyone with the link until expiry or revocation. You are responsible for what you share and with whom.
6. Fees
Paid tiers, if offered, are described at sign-up or in-product. Fees are billed according to the plan you select. Refunds follow our published billing policy unless required by law.
7. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or delete accounts for breach of these Terms or for operational reasons. Upon termination, we will delete or retain data as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimers and liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES AND LIMIT LIABILITY FOR INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
